Who runs this site
opuscule.consulting is run by Opuscule Inc., a Delaware company. I'm Ludovic Barreca, and I'm the person who reads what you send. For any question about this page: hello@opuscule.ai.
What you send me
The contact form: your name, company, email, team size and message. It reaches me by email, through Resend, an email delivery service. I use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
Booking a call: the calendar, shown on this site, is provided by Cal.com, under its own privacy policy. Your name, email and notes reach me and go into my Google Calendar; the call happens on Google Meet.
An email to hello@opuscule.ai: it stays in my inbox.
The chat and the live demos
What you type, and your voice notes, go to the AI services that produce the answer: Anthropic (Claude) for the text, Groq for turning voice notes into text. The site's server doesn't keep your conversation: it stays in your browser tab and is gone when you close it (a short summary goes into your visit notes, below).
To keep costs in check, the server counts each visitor's tries for the day by IP address, and keeps an answer for an hour so the same question doesn't cost twice. Both live in memory only: the counts reset every day, the answers expire after an hour.
Don't type anything confidential into the demos: they're for trying things out, with made-up or harmless data.
Your visit notes
When you try a demo, read an article to the end, look at an offer or use the chat, the site keeps a short note of it in your browser (local storage), for 30 days. It is never sent on its own.
You can see and edit it at any time with the “Your notes” button: remove, comment on, correct or add a line, or clear it all. When you write to me or book a call, it's attached by default, shown exactly as it will be sent, and one checkbox leaves it out.
You can also stop the note-taking altogether, below or from your notes: everything noted is erased, and nothing more is noted until you turn it back on, here or with the icon at the bottom left of the pages.
Visit statistics
I use Umami to see how the site is used: which pages are viewed, where visitors come from (a search engine, LinkedIn, a link in an email), which buttons get clicked (booking, contact, demos, chat), the type of browser and device, the country, and how fast pages load.
Umami uses no cookies and doesn't build a profile of you across sites. Your IP address is used to work out the country and isn't stored. Your messages and what you type are never part of it.
Do Not Track: if your browser sends this signal, the visit statistics skip you entirely.
Cookies
Just one of mine, and only if you switch languages: it remembers the language you picked. No advertising or tracking cookies. The booking calendar, when you open it, loads from Cal.com, which may set its own cookies.
Server logs
Like any web server, mine keeps standard logs (IP address, page requested, browser) for security and troubleshooting, for a limited time.
What I don't do
I don't sell or rent your information, I don't show ads, and I don't share what you send beyond the services named on this page.
Your choices
Write to hello@opuscule.ai to see, correct or delete what you've sent me, and I'll take care of it.
Children
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes too.
